Three Quotes, Three Days Challenge – Day 2

‘This Door is Alarmed’ was nominated by Tishacutie16, who writes a journey of thoughtful and intriguing poetry. It is a wonderful place to enjoy with your afternoon tea. I recommend a visit!

Guidelines (I prefer this to ‘rules’; guidelines are not as prescriptive. You must all be familiar with the full moon effect of placing rules in front of me by now. It is like dripping fresh blood into a piranha tank!):

  1. Thank the person who nominated you.
  2. Post a quote for three consecutive days (1 quote for each day).
  3. Nominate three bloggers each day.

“Have I gone mad? I’m afraid so, but let me tell you something, the best people usually are.”
― Lewis CarrollAlice in Wonderland

What can I possibly add to this?

Do you agree?

      2. No worries. I think I got confused because I was checking FB rather than messenger 🙂 I have a little bubble that pops and bobs around to tell me I have a message, so I should get the message as soon as I can next look at my phone 🙂

      1. Oh yes, please do. Whittinghams do a lovely one. I don’t know if your neck of the woods has one, but you are bound to be able to buy online.

  1. I absolutely agree! There’s a song I enjoy inspired by this quote and the chorus is “If I leave my grin behind remind me that we’re all mad here and it’s ok”!

      1. We celebrated my 9 year old’s bday party last year with Mad Hatter theme blast. Made mad hats out of brown paper grocery bags and all the kids decorated their own hat. We had mad hatter tea buffet and after the topsy turvy cake was cut… there was a parade of mad hatters! We had a mad blast! 😉 💕

      2. That sounds like my kind of party! That is epic! Can I have an invite to the next one! Anything mad hatter-ish is fantastic.

I once wrote an Alice In Wonderland play and directed it on stage. It was incredible. Is one of my favourite books!

      3. I mean it was an incredible experience. I am not qualified to comment in the possible pain of those who chose to watch It! 🤣😂🤣🤗
