Artwork #2

Another acrylic on canvas. This painting depicts Lladram Bay Beach in the south of England. This beach has a number of curious columns just off the coast. If you do a Google image search for this beach, you will see what I mean.

I took my cat with me for this trip; she enjoyed a walk up and down the beach. Perhaps one of those black shadows is the silhouette of a kitty?

This is a scheduled post as I am currently Out of Office and will return part-way through August. I will be travelling to some remote places, so finding an internet connection may be difficult. Although I may not reply to your comments immediately, please know that I value and appreciate every one of them, andย look forward to reading and replying on my return.

    1. Thank you Ward. I only dabble with paint really, compared to a true artist, I am a mere finger painter, I am sure, but I am so delighted you like it, that means a lot! ๐Ÿ™‚

I did have a wonderful time, thanks. It was hard work though and I have come back feeling like I need a holiday XD. I have never had so many bruises or little cuts, and I have actually built some muscles! The hard work was more than worth it though for the incredible things we saw and tribes people we met. For a linguist to actually meet people who still use the click languages and hear them spoken is a real dream!

      2. That is such a wonderful thing to hear. Perhaps I will upload some photos of my travels soon, if I have time. I hope it gives you a drive to do all the travelling I know you have in your heart!
